I wrote about quirky things to do while in San Antonio in my piece on the Menger Hotel here. Horse & carriage rides are one of my favorite things! You can expect $50 for a 20minute ride around downtown. Below, horses dressed in their best for Fiesta! More photos of Fiesta here.

My Recommendations

If you get a ride in the evening, you can expect it to light up like a real Cinderella carriage!  It’s perfect for romantic couple ideas around the old town. Get some ice-cream nearby at Haagen-Dazs.
