Fall Colors of Colorado

Halloween greetings to my readers! It’s been 2 months since I blogged, I can’t believe how time flies! Promise I will begin publishing weekly again 🙂 I welcome all new followers to The Starlit Path – there have been a phenomenal amount this past 2 months of new subscribers, I am so grateful. This is my story and these are my travel moments.

I just spent an incredible week in Colorado checking out the San Luis Valley! My husband and I started in Aspen + then rented a car and worked our way through places like Leadville, Breckenridge, Salida, Buena Vista + Vail.

Colorado is by far the most exquisite state in America! The mountain peaks which majestically tower anywhere between 7,000-12,000 ft above sea level, remind me of parts of Franschhoek + Stellenbosch in South Africa. Combined with that, the burnt orange trees of Fall, the icy chill in the air and the winding open roads dotted with cattle make you feel so alive!

Taking photos on this trip was such a thrill – knowing I could share them with you. The reason I blog is because I enjoy it and I love sharing these photos with a community of like-minded creatives. They inspire me very much. The beauty of the stuff I see leads me to ask questions to get to know these places more, as I’m sure you also do when you go to new places. It’s all about beauty and discovery.
