My Opinion
This award-winning exhibit is not to be missed! Something is quite haunting about walking through a replica of the 1912 Titanic at this exhibit in Las Vegas. I was startled to see actual bottles retrieved from the ocean floor, as well as a genuine piece of the ship! Gaze at the exhibit’s replicas of 1st,2nd + 3rd class cabins and feel as though you were actually there. Walk out onto the deck beneath the stars and feel the icy chill that would have been felt by the actual passengers. Get your photo taken on the grand staircase and enjoy taking in the spooky mood of these genuine artifacts and intriguing objects. I came here shortly before my Cirque du Soleil show, and it took me well into an hour.
Highlight: Black Fret Ball, Austin
Black Fret Ball happened this past weekend at the historic Paramount Theatre, Austin! This is where the premiere was held for “Batman” in 1966!

I was recently in London for the Royal Investiture at Buckingham Palace! I was accompanying Lindsay Ziehl of Yokhuselo Haven for Abused Women, who was awarded an MBE (Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) for her work in Domestic Violence in South Africa.
One of the PR events surrounding the events was a visit to the London City Hall, to meet with the Lord Mayor’s office about their efforts in helping similar vulnerable women + children in London.
We met with Programme Manager Sarah Tyler + Senior Programme Manager Jain Lemom, of the Violence Against Women + Girls Team for the Mayor’s Office in London for Policing + Crime. I am standing with Antonette Hamman + Lindsay Ziehl (both wearing purple).
