Horse-drawn carriages in Charleston

1 (1)

Famous for its pastel antebellum houses, ironwork by C. Werner, the old slavery market, tin roofs + chimneys, church steeples, St Philip’s graveyard + the lazy palmettos on every street….horse drawn carriages are among the quaint sites you’ll see in this 17th century town. I write about my weekend here, plus produced a 1-video profile of it below. (easily watchable + shareable if you love history!) Charleston was also the official port of the Tall Ships Challenge this year and more than a dozen ships from around the world were in port.
