Dracula in London

🦇 Dark Classics • 🌙 Stage Magic • 🎟️ West End Evenings

I saw Dracula in London this week, starring Cynthia Erivo, and it completely surprised me in the best way.

Cynthia plays all 23 characters

The staging was dark and elegant, with a spare set that let the lighting and sound design do most of the haunting. Erivo brought this intense, magnetic energy to the role — quiet one moment, commanding the next — and the whole theatre felt like it was holding its breath. It leaned more into psychological tension than gore, which made it even more unsettling. Has anyone else seen it yet?

Dracula is playing at the Noël Coward Theatre from early February through 30 May 2026, giving it a strictly limited 16-week season in London’s theatre district. The performance runs about 1 hour 50 minutes with no interval.
