Golden Moments

This year, I crossed off a major bucket list item by celebrating New Year’s Eve at The Ritz in Paris. Here’s how I chased those starlit moments:
- Had an unforgettable New Year’s Eve at The Ritz in Paris, ticking off a big bucket list item.
- Enjoyed a fantastic 6-course meal at Bar Vendome with my family.
- Tried my first sip of Château Rauzan-Ségla wine – went for the Margaux 2005 and a few other fancy ones, including a lovely 2010 Vieux Château Grand Vin Pomerol and a Petrus 2003, Grand Vin Pomerol
- Stood where Princess Diana stood on her last night, soaking in the history.
- Made a special Christmas wish next to The Ritz’s festive tree.
- Counted down to midnight surrounded by 5000 balloons and clinking champagne glasses in the City of Lights.

Fun Fact
In Parisian cuisine, an “amuse-bouche” refers to a small, bite-sized appetizer or hors d’oeuvre served before the main course.
It’s often a single, beautifully presented bite that’s designed to excite the palate and provide a glimpse of the chef’s creativity and skill.
Amuse-bouches are meant to stimulate the appetite and set the tone for the meal to come, offering a tantalizing preview of the dining experience.
