Some of my young readers pose with my book + a rain stick – which features in book 2

There’s nothing quite like seeing a child holding A Streak of Light with a beaming smile—or sometimes a serious superhero face! Lately, I’ve been receiving the most heart-melting photos from parents, teachers, and young readers who’ve sent in pictures of their kids with the book.

I just want to say: thank you.

When I started writing this story, I hoped it would help at least one child feel seen, inspired, or just a little more sparkly inside. To now see so many young readers glowing with their copies, quoting favorite lines, or even dressing up as characters… it’s beyond anything I imagined.

And recently, the book has been receiving five-star and A+ reviews from editorial publications. It’s incredibly encouraging, and I’m just so grateful the message is resonating.

If you’d like to check it out, A Streak of Light is available here:

And if your child wants to send in a photo with their book, please do! Every single one brings me joy, and I’m so thankful for this glowing little community that’s growing—one reader at a time.

P.S. I may feature a few photos on my Instagram (with permission), so let me know if your young reader wants to be part of the sparkle parade 💫

Check out the book’s official blog here.
