Just about 30 minutes north of Houston is Old Town Spring, a historic Texas town that began as a railway settlement. This year, the holiday glow begins on Saturday, November 22 at 5 p.m., kicking off the season. The town is known for its restored Victorian storefronts and long-running local festivals. Around 62,559 people live in the Spring area, and from November 22 onward the holiday crowds begin to arrive. It’s a lively, cheerful place to shop, wander, and soak in the season. For an overnight stay, check into the Wunsche Bros. Hotel & Saloon, a historic landmark that opened in 1902 and still carries its early-Texas charm. Old Town Spring feels tailor-made for Christmas: garlands, glowing lanterns, narrow streets, and a touch of mystery after dusk.
