🦏 Rainy-day safari magic • 🌧️ Unexpected adventure • 🦒 Wildlife up close • 📍 Kragga Kamma Game Reserve
I recently had a wild, unforgettable day at a game reserve in my hometown called Kragga Kamma Game Reserve. The moment we climbed into the safari vehicle, the clouds burst open and the rain came down in sheets. Instead of turning back, we were handed bright ponchos and decided to press on—laughing at how soaked we already were. Our game ranger kept the vibe light and determined, cracking jokes and refusing to let the weather win. And honestly? I was amazed by how much we still saw. Rhinos lumbered out of the mist, giraffes blinked their long lashes at us through the rain, and somehow the whole landscape felt even more magical. It turned into one of my best game drives ever.
