New nature nails!

They call it the Opossum Temple and the Voodoo Pew, and it’s one of those places you don’t expect to find. Tucked beside Lady Bird Lake in Austin, Texas, it feels quiet and slightly otherworldly. It feels like it’s been waiting there longer than the trail itself. I had to write about this cool enclave because it inspired part of my middle grade fantasy book. If you’re into signs from the universe, you may want to check out my sister blog here.
This ‘temple’ offers a quiet place to pause, overlooking Lou Neff Point and where Barton Creek meets the lake. It was commissioned as part of the Ann and Roy Butler Trail, with the Voodoo Pew created by T. Paul Hernandez.
