📍 Waco, Texas • 🌿 Local landmarks • 🛍️ Market finds • ☕ Weekend stops

Founded by Chip and Joanna Gaines, stars of Fixer Upper

I visited Magnolia Market in Waco, the space created by Chip and Joanna Gaines. It’s part retail, part hangout—designed more like a gathering place than a typical shopping stop.

Set around a large lawn with food trucks and seating, it’s easy to spend a few hours here without rushing. There’s a bakery, garden shop, and multiple stores selling homeware, books, and seasonal pieces.

What stands out is how intentional it feels—simple design, neutral tones, and a focus on slowing things down. It’s busy, but still manages to feel relaxed.

Not just a shop—more of a curated Waco experience.

Located at the Magnolia Silos, originally built in 1950 as a cottonseed oil facility

The site includes multiple spaces: market, bakery (Silos Baking Co.), garden shop, and lawn

Lemon cupcake from the bakery—very good!

It’s one of the most visited attractions in Texas, drawing thousands of visitors daily
