MY REVIEW

Hop’s Tales: The Kind Bunny feels like the kind of story you read under a blanket with a flashlight while rain taps against the window. It’s warm, gentle, and packed with heart. Evelina Ruimy takes a very real childhood fear, being told you’re ‘not cool’ for loving school, and turns it into a sweet woodland adventure full of kindness, courage, and self-worth.

Little Hop is the sort of character kids instantly want to protect. When Ruff the pup hurts his feelings, the story dips into that nervous, lonely feeling every child knows. But instead of becoming mean back, Hop learns something stronger: kindness has power.

The watercolor illustrations by Siski Kalla are soft, dreamy, and filled with woodland magic. Every page feels like a tiny hidden forest world.

This book has the cozy emotional glow of a classic bedtime tale, with an important message tucked inside like treasure in a rabbit burrow.
