A Day In Seattle

If you have a day (or a weekend) to spend in Seattle, these are my top 8 recommendations for solo travelers who want to get their fix of the Pacific Northwest!

MoPop Seattle’s Fantasy Land!

A fantasy exhibit at the Museum of Popular Culture in Seattle has me enthralled! Definitely one for the bucket list, you can pet a dragon, take photos on a throne, check out weaponry from Lord of the Rings and see costumes from the likes of Harry Potter and more!

Suspended in a Vampire’s Lair

Is it a coincidence I was watching “Dracula” – the 2020 drama-horror Netflix television serial developed by Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat, when I ended up in Seattle and found this exhibit which is all about cinematic terror and the unsettling emotions it brings about in us (and which we love, apparently). Take a peek inside MoPop, Seattle’s art museum exclusively dedicated to all things pop culture and their infamous “Scare Exhibit”, not for the faint of hearted!

A Technicolor Experience at MoPop Seattle

Take an intergalactic journey as you explore iconic sci-fi artifacts. More than 150 artifacts from iconic films and television shows, “Infinite Worlds of Science Fiction” invites you to experience the incredible range of storytelling found in science fiction: from Star Trek to H.G. Wells’ The War of the Worlds, from big-budget Men in Black to the Philip K. Dick-inspired Blade Runner to the Battlestar Galactica series.

An African Safari Experience

With SO many of my American friends + clients booking safaris now that COVID is over and travel restrictions are lifted, I thought I would share a collage of beautiful photos from a trip I took in late 2019 pre-COVID. How many people in the world can say they’ve had a truly authentic African safari?…

Howler Monkeys in Belize

Kate + William are in Belize right now. They’re doing pretty much everything I did. (Including listening to the Howler Monkeys at the Caracol Archaeological Site and freaking out like I did!!) So – here are my top experiences in this beautiful, tropical, Caribbean country – and some exclusive behind-the-scenes content that you will never…

Ghost walk in….Austin

Ghost walk in…Newport

Even though I’ve done well over 13 ghost walks in the United States, spanning 13 states, I can honestly say I never thought to write about them or share photos from them until now. I began this ghost series a few weeks ago… I wrote about the ghost walk I did in York, which began…
