My Opinion
Here you are made to feel like Royalty! The staff are acutely attentive + their elegance matches the interior design of this highly luxurious building. I couldn’t help being bowled over by the fresh flowers everywhere – a stunning display of white lilies greeted me when I arrived. The Lafayette restaurant is conveniently on-site + offers the most exquisite Sunday brunch. The White House view from our bedroom was unparalleled anywhere I’ve been (and I thought my view of the Luxor from my room in Las Vegas was extraordinary). A 1-minute walk from the famous Lafayette Square in Washington D.C is too good to be true. With many restaurants in the surrounding area, such as the St.Regis hotel + Joe’s Steakhouse, + the famous Georgetown only a 10 minute uber ride away, you will want for nothing here. My favorite moment was experiencing the posh bathroom with its gold finishes + the Etro bath soaps. I also loved the intricate presentation of the room service coffee in the morning, as well as the hotel bar “Off the Record” (try the pear martini!)
