BK Style & My Arts For Brooklyn Fashion Week & AMF with Longstreet Fashion Store

I had a wonderful shoot this past week with Patrick Ryan Photography in Cape Town for Brooklyn Fashion Week & My Arts International in their collaboration to strengthen ties between South Africa and New York. This partnership is under the UN Millennium 2015 Program and sees a host of fashion-related events in both cities. I’m very proud to be the South African ambassador for this movement and to be working with them on organising the “Art Meets Fashion Event” in Johannesburg this year (the first of many events the two nations have partnered to do).

The event offers a platform for fashion designers and artists to showcase their work, trade and network. Taking place at Constitution Hill The Star newspaper has taken the title sponsorship of the event in Johannesburg, officially making it “The Star Art Meets Fashion Joburg”. Shooting in Simonstown at the Old Navy Base, we were very pleased for Longstreet Fashion Store to come on board (stores in Cavendish, Tygervalley, V&A Waterfront) and supply the clothing for the shoot. Other events this year include:
